During each pregnancy a blood test will be carried out a few times.
The first blood test will check:
- Blood type, rhesus-D-factor and other antibodies.
- Hemoglobin (anemia) and glucose (blood sugar).
- Lues (syphilis, a venereal disease), hepatitis B (a liver infection) and H.I.V. (A.I.D.S.-test).
In case you object to one of these tests please notify us before you have the blood test.
We will personally discuss the results of this blood test with you during the second check-up.
